What is RSS/XML? RSS is a simple way for you to keep up with recent news and updates that are added to webpages that you frequent. RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" and has been used in podcasting and blogging but is now more widely available, and XML (eXtensible Markup Language) is just one way that RSS is written. Basically, it lets you know when something has been added to a website without you having to check it everyday. As new items are added to Linlee's website, the webmaster will add information about it to the RSS feed. With Internet Explorer 7 or another RSS reader, you can be notified when these changes take place. |
