lab sessions with some independent work done between lab sessions.

Additional notes & suggestions:
During the trading session, provide ample time to show the video commercials and then let partner groups "trade" cards.
After the trading session, keep trading cards in an album (like the ones for baseball cards) so students can access them when needed for future reference.
If
a digital video camera could be used, the video could be added to a
multi-media presentation using PowerPoint or Hyperstudio and shown during
parent night or a social studies fair.
