Family
Resource Center Information
Linlee/Meadowthorpe Family Resource Center's mission is
to enhance students’ ability to succeed in school by identifying,
promoting and coordinating community resources. The Family Resource
Center helps remove barriers that may keep a child from learning.
Developed
as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA) of 1990, the Family
Resource Center started during the 1994-95 school year to serve two
schools, Linlee and Meadowthorpe. There are over 800 Family
Resource/Youth Service Centers state-wide and the program is funded
yearly by a state grant.
